With tomorrow’s release of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the second audiobook in the groundbreaking series from Pottermore and Audible, the timing of this announcement couldn’t be more perfect.

Not only will Dame Shirley Bassey be voicing the character of Molly Weasley’s favourite magical singer, but she has also recorded three original songs for Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions… and we have an exclusive snippet of musical magic to share with you.

Composed by Ashley Griffin, this snippet of ‘You Stole My Cauldron But You Can’t Have My Heart’ featured in Chamber of Secrets has us thoroughly charmed.

That’s not the only delightful tune that you can expect to see as the series progresses. There are also two brand-new songs that you can hear in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

We’re sure you superfans out there will recognise these song titles that hold a special place in Molly Weasley’s heart – ‘A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love’, composed by Ashley Griffin and ‘You Charmed The Heart Right Out of Me’, composed by Kezia Tomsett.

Featuring music from a 17-piece big band recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London, and with Dame Shirley’s spectacular singing captured at Miraval Studios in France, this truly is Harry Potter like you have never heard it before.

Reflecting on what it means to be part of this fantastic project, Dame Shirley said:
