It’s almost time to hear Harry Potter like never before in the new, full-cast audiobook series from Pottermore and Audible. Our encounter with the Sorting Hat
One of the most memorable moments from Philosopher’s Stone has to be when Harry finds out he’s a Gryffindor. Last night, we were able to experience that pivotal scene like never before. Thanks to a clever installation, complete with house-themed lighting and the sounds of Harry’s first Sorting Ceremony, it almost felt like we were the ones pulling a singing hat onto our heads to discover our own Hogwarts destiny.
The best-played game of chess Hogwarts has seen…
If one sneak peek wasn’t enough, we also relived the heroic moment Ron took on a larger-than-life chess game and was victorious. Hearing it while standing on a chess board was certainly a surreal moment… we’re just glad we didn’t encounter the queen.
Flitting among the flying keys
With mirrors cleverly placed around the room, we couldn’t help but feel like we surrounded by an infinite number of keys – giving us a real sense of how high the stakes were for Harry, Ron and Hermione.
That’s not all, there were more magical surprises in store
From the moment we arrived, the magic of Harry Potter was everywhere. Whether that was walking through the entrance tunnel as the many voices of the audiobook washed over us transporting us back to the wizarding world…
Or finding a hidden door, leading us to the secret room where we not only discovered a floating Snitch but were also a sneaky snippet of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets!
