Today, you can sign up for priority access to be first in line for a huge slew of tickets to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in New York. And there are quite a lot of tickets on offer: 250,000, in fact.
One year on from Cursed Child opening on Broadway, this marks the biggest ticket release the production has ever announced, with the tickets coming soon on 8 May. To celebrate the release, as well as the new cast that have just taken over the production, we are also treated to some new production stills of the actors in action, now starring James Snyder as Harry Potter.
To mark the one-year anniversary in style, you can also see James take over our own Instagram today, and see some little sneak peeks at some props and costume secrets behind the scenes, including a close look at the ‘I must not tell lies’ scar that Harry still has on his hand all these years later. The devil truly is in the details.
Producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender were ‘thrilled’ to be offering out the huge new batch of tickets to fans.
‘As we celebrate our first year on Broadway and with extraordinary new cast members, we’re thrilled to offer a quarter of a million new tickets in our biggest Broadway release to date,’ they said.
‘Now, more people than ever will have an opportunity to experience the magic of Cursed Child and join Harry and his friends on this incredible adventure.’
Yes please.
Don’t worry if you miss out on the priority window – you’ll still get a chance to snap up tickets during general sale. So, be sure to pop 8 May in your calendar so you don’t miss the big day – unless you happen to have a Remembrall.
Tickets for Cursed Child on Broadway will be released 8 May, from 10am to 2pm EDT, priced at $69 per part. Sign up for Priority Access from the HarryPotterOnStage website for more details!
