Cursed Child has officially opened in San Francisco, and the stars of the show were out in force at the Curran Theater to celebrate before the show.

London. Tick. New York. Tick. Melbourne. Tick. San Francisco...? Tick! Cursed Child’s official Opening Day at the Curran Theatre is finally here – and, as ever – there was a party to be had.

Here’s all the action from the opening weekend, exclusive, never-before-seen photography of the production, and a special letter written to the company, from J.K. Rowling.

The cast and crew from Cursed Child were joined by producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callendar, who had this to say about Cursed Child’s west coast takeover.

J.K. Rowling, who created the momentous eighth Harry Potter story alongside Jack Thorne an John Tiffany, delivered a special letter to the San Francisco production, making the weekend extra emotional.

We were on hand to chat to the cast too – and in the spirit of the premiere – decided to launch into a game of ‘Would you Rather’ – Wizarding World style. Take a look as the cast deliberate hot topics, such as being told off by Professor Snape or Professor McGonagall. Choices, choices...
