Unlock a new Triwizard Tournament outfit and a cosy Back to Hogwarts jumper

Unless someone has cast the Muffliato Charm on you recently, you probably know that it’s the 20-year anniversary of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! To commemorate the occasion, the game is gifting players a fun new outfit, inspired by the robes Harry wears while battling the Hungarian Horntail in the First Task of the Triwizard Tournament. Hurry – the outfit will only be available ‘til 15th September.

For 1st September, discover a lovely piece of knitwear, boasting a Hogwarts castle design. This one will be available for the whole month.

Partake in special Back to Hogwarts events

• Get involved in new Hogwarts Diary Event, “Start of Term Mayhem”, available right now. Hogwarts students are inexplicably failing even the most simple of school assignments – and you must find out why.
  
• The “Back to School Special” adventure kicks off 13th August, inviting you down to Diagon Alley before term starts. But when an unexpected complication rears its head, you must rise to the challenge to catch the Hogwarts Express on time.
  
• Help Nicolas Flamel in “The Alchemist” challenge. Yes, the renown philosopher is coming to Hogwarts for an extra-special lecture. Your task is to help Nicolas prepare for the talk – but also be on the lookout for a mysterious plot that threatens to turn Hogwarts into gold... Coming soon!
  

• Play “Hat’s Off” in September to help the Sorting Ceremony go off without a hitch. Professor Dumbledore needs your assistance with the famous Sorting Hat! Lookout for this event coming next month.

Discover new magical flora and fauna

Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures fans will be pleased to know of a new plant and creature coming to the game. You’ll soon be able to unlock the Ramora, while the Bursting Mushroom will be introduced to the Hogwarts Harvest in September!

An amazing new location is about to become available for gamers: Japan! Yes, you’ll be tasked to discover family secrets in this beautiful country – but what mysteries will you unfurl this time?
