Someone cast an Extension Charm at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden! Production has officially commenced for the Harry Potter television series – and we have new cast members and an incredible team behind-the-scenes to tell you all about.
Firstly - we have our first glimpse of our new Harry: Dominic McLaughlin, trying on the iconic glasses and robes for the very first time. No, we're not crying.
More brilliant acting talent joins the series too, with Rory Wilmot playing Neville Longbottom, Amos Kitson as Dudley Dursley, Louise Brealey as Madam Rolanda Hooch and Anton Lesser portraying the great wandmaker, Garrick Ollivander.
And there is much excitement happening behind the camera as well, with the creative department heads for the series now confirmed as follows: Adriano Goldman (Director of Photography), Cate Hall (Hair and Makeup Designer), Paul Herbert (Stunt Coordinator), Mark Holt (SFX Supervisor), Mara LePere-Schloop (Production Designer), Naomi Moore (Set Decorator), John Nolan (Creature Effects Design Supervisor), Alexis Wajsbrot (VFX Supervisor), Dom Sidoli (VFX Producer), and Holly Waddington (Costume Designer).
The series will debut in 2027 on HBO and HBO Max where it’s available.
