Eligibility Requirements

The Giveaway with winners randomly selected (“Contest”) is open to individuals who are residents of the United States, and who are aged eighteen (18) years old and above (the “Entrants”).

The Contest begins at 7:00am ET on 7 February 2023 and ends at 6:59pm ET on 12 February 2023 (the “Contest Period”).

Only one (1) entry/post per person.

2. How to Enter

No purchase is necessary to take part in this Contest. Entrants may enter the Contest by: Following our account and commenting on the contest post(s) with Hogwarts House, including the hashtag #giveaway, sharing what they are most excited to play in Hogwarts Legacy. No other forms of entry will be accepted.

Five (5) winners will be selected at random by or on behalf of Wizarding World Digital on February 13, 2023, from all Entries submitted during the Contest Period (Collectively, the “Contest Winner(s)”). Once an Entrant has been selected as a Contest Winner, they will not be eligible to win an additional Prize.

Wizarding World Digital’s decision concerning the determination of the Contest Winners and all matters relating to the Contest will be final and binding.

3. Prizes

Prize description

Five (5) Contest Winners will each receive a copy of the Hogwarts Legacy: Collector’s Edition set for PlayStation 5 (“Prize”) at the physical mailing address which they provide.

Additional Terms and Conditions

• Contest Winner will forfeit receiving the Prize if they fail to respond within seventy two (72) hours to the DM sent to them notifying them of their Prize and must sign and submit the required associated Prize Acceptance and Release Form to the email address provided in the Form. The Prize Acceptance and Release Form provides the Contest Winner’s consent to Wizarding World Digital or its Agent to send the Prize to the Contest Winner’s designated physical mailing address.

4. Notifying the Contest Winner

The Contest Winner(s) will be informed by DM (direct message) from Wizarding World Digital within seventy two (72) hours from the Prize draws. The Contest Winner(s) will be required to confirm acceptance of their Prize by email and with submission of the Prize Acceptance and Release Form within seventy two (72) hours after receipt of notification of the Prize (“Confirmatory Email”). The Contest Winner(s) must provide their full name and mailing address in the Confirmatory Email. Wizarding World Digital will inform the Contest Winner(s) of any arrangements for the redemption of the Prizes.

5. Promoter

The Contest is organized by Wizarding World Digital. In order to administer the Contest, Wizarding World Digital may make use of advertising and promotional agencies (“Agent(s)”).

6. Prize Terms

6.1 Prizes are subject to availability. Wizarding World Digital takes reasonable care to ensure that the Prizes are as described in these Rules. However, events may occur that make the awarding of the Prizes impractical or inappropriate due to unforeseen circumstances, reasons beyond the control of Wizarding World Digital or Wizarding World Digital’s business reasons. This includes but not limited to war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus. In this situation, Wizarding World Digital reserves the right to vary or amend the Prizes to provide a reasonable alternative as a result of which Wizarding World Digital or parties connected to Wizarding World Digital shall not be held liable.

6.2 No cash or credit alternative is available and the Prizes are not transferable. Eligibility for the Prizes is subject to signing Wizarding World Digital’s Prize Acceptance and Release Form (available on request).

6.3 If a Contest Winner does not confirm acceptance of the Prize within the required time period, he/she will automatically forgo their right to claim the Prize and a runner up will be selected as an alternative Contest Winner. If such runner up also fails to accept the Prize in the required manner, the next runner up will be selected as an alternative Contest Winner and so on until another Contest Winner is chosen and has duly accepted in accordance with these Rules.

7. Changes to Rules

Subject to applicable law, Wizarding World Digital reserves the right to modify the Rules at any time without notice to Entrants. In such circumstances, updated Rules will be uploaded to and published on the Website https://www.wizardingworld.com

For all that relates to the use of the Website, it is reminded that the Wizarding World Privacy Policy https://www.wizardingworld.com/privacy and the Terms and Conditions of Use https://www.wizardingworld.com/terms/terms-us-ca accessible on or via the Website are applicable. The Rules for the Contest shall prevail over any inconsistent provision contained in the Terms and Conditions of Use or the Privacy Policy posted on or via the Website.

8. Promotions on Social Networking Sites

In addition, if the Entrant accesses and enters the Contest through a social networking site (including without limitation Instagram), each Entrant agrees to comply with such site’s terms of use and privacy policy. Please note that any Contest organized by Wizarding World Digital is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, such third-party social networking site.

9. Eligibility of Entries

9.1 Ineligible or fraudulent Entries are void. All Entrants will be deemed to have authorized Wizarding World Digital and its Agents to check the completeness and accuracy of the information they supply for purposes of participation. An Entrant who has supplied incomplete, inaccurate or fraudulent information will be automatically disqualified. Any Entry that uses offensive or inappropriate language will automatically be disqualified.

9.2 Wizarding World Digital and Agents are not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected Entries, for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, for lost or unavailable network connections, or for failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or any human error which may occur in the receipt or processing of the Entries.

9.3 Proof of entering information on the Instagram site or via the email provided for the required Prize Acceptance and Release Form does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt of such information. Wizarding World Digital is not responsible for the failure of any email or Entry to be received by it on account of technical problems or congestion on the internet or at any website.

9.4 Use of computer programs and other automatic means to enter the Contest is prohibited and may result in the disqualification of the Entrant.

9.5 The Contest is not open to employees or contractors of Wizarding World Digital or Agents, including each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, or Instagram, or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organization or running of the Contest or their direct family members.

9.6 In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered on the date the Entry is submitted. All Entries become property of Wizarding World Digital and will not be returned.

10. Post-Contest Publicity

The Contest Winner(s) may be invited and agree to take part in post-Contest publicity as may be requested by Wizarding World Digital. By accepting the Prizes, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Contest Winner(s) consent that Wizarding World Digital may use his/her name, photograph, likeness (including his/her voice), hometown and biographical information and statements concerning the Contest or Wizarding World Digital and/or its products without further compensation or notice for the purpose of advertising, promotion, and merchandising, throughout the world in perpetuity, and the Contest Winner(s) grant all rights to edit or modify and to publish and copyright such details.

11. Use of Personal Data

11.1 In order to participate in the Contest, Wizarding World Digital requires Entrants to provide certain information about themselves such as Entrant’s name, contact details and social media details. Some Entries may require the submission of user generated content (such as, pictures, videos, etc.), which may contain personal data. Wizarding World Digital has specified which information is mandatory in order to participate in the Contest.

11.2 Submitted information will be used by Wizarding World Digital to administer the Contest, which is in Wizarding World Digital’s legitimate interest. Entry information will usually be kept until the Contest is fully administered, but in any event, no longer than six (6) months.

11.3 Wizarding World Digital may require Contest Winner(s) to provide additional information in order to fulfil the Prize. This information may be shared with Wizarding World partners involved in the fulfilment of the Prize, e.g. Prize providers.

11.4 Wizarding World Digital may use cookies and other similar technologies to keep track of your interactions on it owned social media channels, and offer you a more personalized experience. As not all Website(s) are owned or operated by Wizarding World Digital please see any third-party privacy policies made available on the Website. 11.5 You have a right to access your personal data; to request that it be updated, deleted and/or restricted; and object to its processing upon legitimate grounds by contacting wbdprivacy@wbd.com You also have a right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Wizarding World Digital and its Agents do not accept any responsibility for any occurrences resulting from the Entrants’ connection to the internet and/or resulting from participation in the Contest. In particular, Wizarding World Digital and its Agents do not accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused in any way to Entrants, their computer equipment and/or to data which is stored on any such equipment, or to their personal, professional or commercial activities.

12.2 If , for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Wizarding World Digital that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, Wizarding World Digital reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest and let Wizarding World Digital select the Contest Winner(s) from all eligible Entries received prior to the cancellation or termination of the Contest.

12.3 Entrants agree to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to release and forever discharge Wizarding World Digital, and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, assigns and employees, and any entity or person connected with the Contest from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever which may now or hereafter arise, including but not limited to any loss of enjoyment, costs, delays or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of or in connection with the Prizes.

12.4 If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of these Rules are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the Rule will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining Rules, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law. 12.5 Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage or to undermine the legitimate operations of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should any such attempt be made, Wizarding World Digital reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12.6 Wizarding World Digital reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the Contest without specifying the reasons for its decision and without incurring liability as a result. These Rules will apply to the Contest. Wizarding World Digital reserves the right to modify these Rules at any time prior to, during or after the Contest Period.

12.7 Wizarding World Digital does not exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as a result of Wizarding World Digital’s negligence in respect of the Entrants’ use of the platform.

12.8 By entering the Contest, Entrants agree to release any social networking site that the Contest may be accessed through from any and all liability connected with the Contest.

12.9 If applicable law does not allow all or any part of the above limitation of liability to apply, the limitations will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12.10 The Contest is governed by the laws of your country of residence. You hereby consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of your country of residence for any action however so arising out of these Rules.
